How Middle School Sets the Stage for Everything That Comes Next

There’s something I’ve learned as a parent and a coach: There are windows in life that don’t stay open forever.
Middle school is one of those windows.
It’s a time where kids are still figuring out who they are.A time where confidence can grow—or shrink. A time where the right training can unlock something in them, or they miss that chance.
I’ve seen it with my own son. I’ve seen it with dozens of middle schoolers who came through our camp. They showed up unsure of themselves… and they left stronger, faster, and more confident—not just as athletes, but as people.
That’s what this is really about.
As a parent, you don’t want to look back and think, “We missed that window.”
You want to look back and know they had every chance to build a foundation that will support them for years.
We’re one week away from camp. There’s still time. There’s still room.
I’m not here to sell you. I’m here to share this: The window is open—but not for long.
Thanks for listening,
Coach Rose
